We are hosting "Heritage in Motion: Drapes, Weaves & Style" at the iconic National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai.

This special occasion promises to be an immersive celebration of traditional weaving craftsmanship, featuring live demonstrations by master weavers, including an extraordinary 80-plus-year-old National Award-winning weaver whose lifetime of dedication and skill exemplifies the beauty of India’s weaving traditions. Alongside these master artisans, renowned handloom experts, iconic saree brand owners and leading saree stylists will join us to showcase the elegance and artistry of handloom textiles.

This event will provide attendees with live demonstrations, discussions on sustainability and an exploration of how these incredible textiles are shaping the future of fashion. This is an invaluable opportunity for students and faculty alike to gain insights into the evolving world of handloom weaving.

The event will culminate in a spectacular live photography session, where models will be draped in exquisite handloom creations, capturing the timeless beauty of India’s weaving heritage in motion.
